Otaru Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan2025 marks the 59th year of this large-scale matsuri that welcomes more than 1 million visitors yearly. This three-day event, originally held as a tribute to the sea, is famous for its lively dancing parade, a wide array of food stalls, and a breathtaking fireworks display that lights up both the sky and the sea.
